Technically Advanced Aerospace Spray Booth Ovens
Junair’s spray booths, specifically designed for the aerospace industry range from standard cost effective spray booths through to highly developed, high specification spray booths. The spray booths are all bespoke manufactured according to customer requirements and are sized to suit the application, from booths used for batch production of small parts through to fully automated conveyor lines for high production volumes, or large complex structures such as complete aircraft.
The Junair Aerospace spray booth can be provided with air replacement systems, with fully modulating heating but also to include humidification, chilling, de-humidification and filtration to required air quality for the process. Junair spray booth ovens are highly specified production units. Every feature of the spray booth has been engineered to be the best in its class. Combined with energy saving and production enhancing equipment the Aerospace spray booth oven delivers the highest quality paint finish at the lowest cost per unit. A fully extracted and balanced floor is incorporated as standard. In combination with the full width, full length plenum, the downdraught airflow through this cabin is second to none.
Dry filter spray booths – The standard spray booth is a dry filter type featuring duplex exhaust particulate filtration, with higher grades of filter available as required. Airflow in the cabin can be side draft or downdraft, an option on our spray booths is to include Junair’s low profile LEVAC floor which allows downdraft airflow without floor excavation.
Water Wash Spray booths – For high production processes Junair can provide a water wash spray booth which incorporates high efficiency water scrubbing systems, manufactured from stainless steel. The water wash spray booths are purpose designed to be fitted with our sludge removal system which allow continuous, in process, removal of overspray paint materials from the recirculated water in the booth. This reduces paint solids in the system and minimizes maintenance requirements, whilst maintaining optimum exhaust filtration.
LED Lighting – Standard Junair lighting allows for high levels of illumination with excellent colour rendition. Junair has been at the forefront of lighting improvements to spraybooths for a number of years, and now we have the latest innovation for spraybooth lighting with LED. Junair have been developing for over two years a specific LED light unit for use in spraybooths which creates a bright, clean light that replicates natural daylight. Using LED lights is the most efficient way of illumination and lighting, with an estimated energy efficiency of 80-90% when compared to traditional lighting and conventional light bulbs.
Controls – The Junair spray booth control system is offered either as the cost effective standard package, or as the iSystem, which is a touch screen enabled system allowing full process control, variable speed drives, and automatic balance of spray booth pressures and allows data logging for the spray booth environmental conditions to meet NADCAP standards.

The Junair spray booth oven incorporates our full range of energy saving and production enhancing equipment. These enhancements can reduce the energy consumption for the spray booth by up to 70% compared to a standard spray booth.
The Junair QADS auxiliary air movement system can accelerate flash off and cure times. QADS can also be fitted with a static neutralization system which reduces static potential on parts to be painted. The enhanced air movement generated by the QADS system ensures that Junair can exceed the requirements for a NADCAP spray booth oven.
