Interest-Free Loans on Energy-efficient
Spraybooth Technology from Junair
Saving energy is not only good for our environment, it makes sound economic sense too. As gas, oil and electricity prices continue to spiral ever upwards and the Climate Change Levy causes the automotive after-care and body repair industry to look more carefully at its energy consumption and carbon emissions, the demand for energy-saving products is increasing rapidly.
Junair, the UK’s leading manufacturer of spraybooth ovens and associated equipment and a pioneer in the development of energy-efficient paint refinishing solutions, has joined forces with the Carbon Trust to make a wide range of technically advanced equipment available to Bodyshop operators on commercially attractive terms.
Junair has secured some £1.5 million of Carbon Trust funding under the organisation’s Energy-Efficiency Loan scheme. Funds, in the form of zero-interest, unsecured loans of between £5,000 and £100,000, have been awarded to Junair customers purchasing spraybooth oven equipment, which is designed to reduce energy consumption. There is no arrangement fee and loans are repayable over one to four years, depending on the energy-savings generated by the investment in new equipment.
Commenting on the scheme, Junair Spraybooths’ Managing Director, Neil Morrison, said: “Junair products such as our QADs™ auxiliary air movement technology with variable speed drives or fuel saver spraybooth operating modes have a dramatic effect in reducing Bodyshop energy consumption and costs. The energy-savings generated by the equipment will effectively pay for the loan and the customer also benefits from increased productivity. It’s a win win situation, ultimately resulting in more profit from body repair and refinishing operations.”
