Door Painting Expertise using Innovative Junair Spray Booths Technology

Junair Spraybooths Ltd have recently designed and installed a high volume conveyor paint facility for one of the largest timber door manufacturers in the UK. The client introduced a new range of lacquered and painted door products, which have proven to be very successful, and soon realised their existing painting facility was not up to scratch. Junair spray booths were chosen as the ideal partner to provide a new paint facility, which includes a paint spray booth, an overhead conveyor system and low temperature paint cure oven, due to the proven high quality innovative engineering and energy saving technology Junair provide to their clients.

Customers Increase Production with Overhead Conveyor Systems

Junair spray booths overhead conveyor systems has allowed the customer to increase production volumes up to five times compared to their previous system, without any extra people required in the process, and is designed to provide flexible control dependant on production volumes. Each door can rotate in front of the sprayer and can move at a variable speed, stop-go or continuous. The sprayer is now being used for painting and not for handling product resulting in improved productivity and quality.

Junair Spray Booths Ovens Allow Close Temperature Control

The Junair spray booths ovens are a fully recirculated hot air oven with modulating heat input to allow very close temperature control. Airflow is filtered for cleanliness, with the Junair QADS providing auxiliary airflow for very even curing, making the oven suitable for curing water based paints. The QAD system allows the oven to be run at lower temperatures, saving the customer energy and running costs, and minimises any potential problems with excess heat in the customer’s product, especially important with timber. The QAD system also allows optimum air movement into even the most difficult areas. The oven includes a fully sealed access door and process lighting to allow in-progress paint inspection.

The spraybooth, oven and conveyor system were designed specifically to suit the client’s available production area. As part of the project Junair also managed the relocation and overhaul of the customer’s existing spraybooth. See more of our spray booths equipment by browsing the website.
