Full-time Project Planner
The position of Project Planner has become available at Junair Spraybooths at our offices in Heywood, Manchester.
We require someone who can plan multi-faceted projects from beginning to end and monitor progress through design, manufacturing, purchasing, onsite build, commissioning and sign off. Working with measurement systems to gauge continuous improvements.
This will involve detailed communications and discussions with all internal stakeholders and suppliers and will include co-ordination with customers.
23 days annual leave plus statutory holidays are available. On site parking is available
Salary expectations are from up to £40K per annum depending upon experience and training. However, internal training will be available for a suitable candidate who may need to develop their skills further.

Reporting to: External Operations Manager

Main duties
- Create project plans from sales order documentation
- Create beginning to end plans for all projects
- Monitor BOMs and report on progress throughout
- To provide paperwork, routings, schedules for all physical parts of projects
- To progress purchased parts against POs and project plans
- To monitor progress of the different stages of projects
- To provide progress reports of all projects
Abilities, experience, training and education
- At least two years working in a planning environment
- Minimum 6 GCSEs but preferably A Levels and further education
- Experience of manufacturing and/or site work
- Trained in Microsoft® products including Project® (further training available if required)
- Able to communicate lucidly both verbally and in writing with all company employees and external stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Create timing plans and loading priorities using Microsoft Project® with assistance from Contracts and other departments and
- To create and maintain a Resources database within Project® and apply these resources to the plans.
- To identify and report overloads to the Internal and External Operations Managers and assist in balancing the resources with all departments
- To create load/build lists and monitor progress against times quoted
- To report regularly on project progress and identify lateness
- Obtaining metrics to produce results against OTIFs, KPIs etc and progressing these reports in conjunction with the EOM, Contracts and other departments
- To comply with the Company Handbook, rules and general professional behaviour
- To complete any other reasonable task requested by the board of directors and other senior managers
