Considerations when buying a powder coating oven
For businesses operating in sectors like automotive and manufacturing, the prospect of establishing an in-house powder coating facility presents a compelling opportunity.
It’s time to put away your ladders and scaffolding for good. Now there’s a much faster, easier and more importantly, safer way to mask, paint and inspect commercial vehicles, PCVs or any large product. Junair Spraybooths are pleased to announce the UK launch of the Alfa-Lift range of pneumatically operated platforms.
Specially designed for use in spray booths and on painting lines, the new range includes the Alfa-Lift pneumatic platform. This has responsive, easy-to-use controls, located in the cage of the Junair Alfa-Lift, comprising three levers which allow the operator to send the cage in all three directions for maximum accessibility. A pneumatic cylinder with chain safety backup facilitates up and down movements. Left and right travel along the spray booth or object being painted is made possible by a pneumatic motor. In and out movements are driven by two pneumatic cylinders that move the cage to the central axis of the spray booth. Optimum productivity is ensured as operatives are not constantly running up and down ladders or static platforms.
In achieving optimum productivity, there has been no compromise on safety. The Junair Alfa-Lift complies with all safety and security regulations for both lifting platforms and spray booths. The product offers protection against leaks and pinching of the hoses, excess weight, collisions or obstacles on the ground, and unintentional opening of the access doors.
The Junair Spraybooth Alfa-Lift is mounted on rails that are fixed to the side walls of the spray booth. On the lower level, the guiding wheels slide on an L-shaped profile that is fixed to the floor, or on the wall so that the platform has no contact with the ground or grid floor. The cage of the platform is designed to carry one person plus equipment.
