When FMG Repair Services’ Scunthorpe site needed to replace some well-used equipment, they turned to Junair for a modern solution that would also enhance productivity.
Working closely with Site Manager Rick Prior and Regional Manager Andy Tomlinson, we designed a system that maximised efficiency and provided additional workbays.
This was a full turnkey project—from decommissioning and safely disposing of the old equipment to filling extraction pits, levelling the ground, and removing obsolete services.
In their place, we installed two brand-new 3 Series Spray Booth Ovens (each 7m long, 3.1m high) with fully gridded LEVAC Floors. Equipped with QADS auxiliary driers and iSystem PLC touchscreen controls, these booths deliver significant energy savings.
We also added a new Paint Mixing and Spray Gun Cleaning Room between the booths to streamline operations.
The entire project, including two days of test runs, was completed in just four weeks—ensuring FMGRS’ team could get back to work with minimal disruption.
