The brief from GKN Aerospace was to create a new paint finishing facility that incorporated the most advanced paint finishing technology. The facility had to provide the highest quality paint finish in a clean, laboratory style environment, which would also offer significant energy savings. GKN Aerospace researched a number of suppliers before deciding to award the contract to Junair Spraybooths, their remit was to choose a supplier who possessed proven technical paint finishing knowledge and had the ability to manage the whole project from start to finish.
A New State of the Art and Energy Efficient Paint Finishing Facility
The newly installed workshop is bright, clean and spacious which has been developed to incorporate eight Junair 5 series spray booths, a large preparation area, a paint mixing room, a gun cleaning room and a complete dust extraction system. In order to fully utilise the facilities workspace, a new mezzanine has been installed to house the plant equipment above the spraybooths.
Junair Spraybooths have transformed a 20 year old workshop into a new state of the art paint finishing facility. The workshop now boasts the most advanced paint finishing technology, ensuring the highest quality paint finish and maximum efficiency within the production process.
