Harlequin approached Junair to find a solution to reduce their soaring energy costs and to speed up their Booth throughput at the same time.
The 2 Nova Verta booths on the site were indirect fired and therefore using a large amount of gas. Junair suggested retro-fitting direct fired plant to the existing car spray booths along with their award winning QADs proven to improve booth performance, reliability and energy efficiency. Energy Efficient lighting completed the package.
Managing Director, Harry Albiniano said ‘Junair introduced us to the Carbon Trust and provided us with the assistance and proof of energy saving to enable us to secure an interest free loan towards the purchase of the equipment.”
Once the installation was complete, Harry who monitors energy costs job by job, was astounded by the reduced amount of energy (both gas and electricity) being required to complete a job. Six months after the installation energy are savings exceeding £1000 a month.
“The retro-fitted equipment Junair supplied and installed has been a complete success, the savings have surpassed my expectations.” Harry stated. “Not only did we save more than we bargained for but the conversions were carried out over two week-ends so we had hardly any downtime!”
